Kathryn Leann: 2 yrs old

Ahh, little Katie is 2 yrs old already. Time has flown! I made a caterpillar cake for her (any cake with frosting would have been fine!) The picture with her fingers is Katie's way of showing she's two, the other cake pictures capture a taste of Katie's expressions. The last picture will probably come back to haunt her.. she added to her wild hair-do: Carolyn's underwear & Benji's cowboy boots (on the wrong feet). Lately she's always putting on or taking something off. Usually its a jacket or socks, but occasionally its everything:)

John Henry: 7 mos

Actually, John is 7 1/2 months... At an appt a few weeks back he weighed 19#13oz (with clothes) and was nearly 28" long. Quite a chunk! He loves to sit & play on the floor. No crawling yet, which is okay by me. But he gets around by pushing backwards or rolling. So far a happy & content boy!

March Madness

Here are a few pictures from this month. The other night, Carolyn chipped her front tooth, on the bathtub. She bit her lip, so it look way worse. At first it seemed like half the tooth was gone, but now it doesn't seem to noticable. Luckily it has not bothered her at all. The other pictures are just "average day play".

John Henry: 6 mos

John is alittle over 6 months already! No accurate weight yet, but as the pictures show, he's a chubby boy. He rolls over, from back to stomach, then Katie comes over and tells John "No, no John" and rolls him back over :) With alittle more practice he'll soon be sitting on his own. Right now he's a tad tippy, but he loves to play on the floor. So far he's a content and happy baby boy.

Kids in a Box

I think between the 3 pictures you can see all 8 kids :) This was taken at Grandma Linda's 50th birthday party. The kids had more fun playing with the boxes, bows and paper than their toys.

Everyday Play

John usually spends most of his day in 2 places: the jump-a-roo, or the swing. He keeps entertained and happy...and it's a good place to catch a catnap.
Benjamin put Benji in the highchair to tease him. But Benji didn't seem to mind. He asked for a banana and ate away :)
The last 2 pictures are the kids pretending to be Benjamin & me. The 1st one they are playing mtg (note Benji is wearing Benjamin's boots & coat). The last one, (yes, Benji & Carolyn have their arms around each other) they still are playing "Benjamin & Heather" only today Katie was their 'brother', and she was holding "John". I'm quite amazed at their creativity. They come up with quite the things at times.

Carolyn is 3!

I finally found my camera, (actually Benjamin did) so here are some pictures to catch you up-to-date. Carolyn turned 3 the end of January. I misplaced my camera the morning of her party, so I only have a picture of her "party cake" and the cake we had with just our little family.
