awww! no better homecoming for daddy than THAT, huh? (after almost a year of being away, kelvin gets a pretty joyful greeting when he comes home from work, too... cole and madi get SO excited and then they cry when he goes to take a shower. i think they're still a little afraid he'll be gone again!)
Precious. I love the excitement of the children when they know Pa is expected home and they run to the window to watch. Sometimes, with 7, it gets a little rambunctious and I have to remind them it hurts a lot more when you get tackled in the driveway than when you get pinned on the carpet in the living room. ☺
This brings to mind my kiddleywinks from the beginning, all vying for "first hug and kiss" from Daddy. Even though they are lots bigger now, the younger two still do it. When TheFiberglassMan has been gone a week or two, there are usually kids and dogs watching our country road for an hour before ETA and he is bombarded as he drives in the drive. Good to 'visit' here again, I still love your header photo...makes me really wish to go on the next Florida trip...(smile)
I am a city girl turned completely country. I'm married to a tall, handsome cowboy (who loves me as I am). I'm a Mom to 4 wonderful children. 2 boys & 2 girls. Some days they are a handful to say the least, but full of love, laughter and joy. They are my life!

I love that age where they can't wait for daddy to get home and embrace him in hugs and kisses!

Dear Anticipation station,
