Now if only the tooth fairy could find us in TN! Otherwise.. we'll have to see what the tooth fairy left for him back home! :)
Since Daddy didn't have to work.. we decided the night before we'd surprise the kids with a trip to the Nashville Zoo. We seen signs for it on our many trips down here, so we decided to go. We knew we were going in the off season. Because the temps had been cool that week, (it was 50 that day) almost all of the animals were indoors somewhere. We were offered discounted tickets, so we went ahead with it anyways. (After being to the Milwaukee Zoo, Brookfield Zoo, and the Minnesota Zoo.. we were disappointed, even had all the animals been on display)
But one thing we loved.... was the 'Jungle Gym'. It may be the single reason we go back during the summer time. This place is the biggest playground, jungle gym I've ever seen. We had it completely to ourselves. It even had a large area for toddlers. Even Mom and Dad had fun here :)
"Is it real Mom?"
"Nope! It's fake!"
One of the few animals we actually saw outside..
Hence the reason it quickly became our favorite spot
AND.. because we could go inside the cage.

She hosts 'parties'. And cooks. (she needs work on the cleaning up part)
She's got all sorts of hidden talents. 
She carries her weight around here. And then some.
She absolutely adores her brother. Most of the time.
{This is Carolyn. The muscle man actually carried her around the living room. Without dropping her. Only once. Because she kissed him. You apparently can't kiss muscle men. It gives them the giggles! }
Now my kids are 
They spend hours hid away in their bedroom sewing. (okay. not hours. but it keeps them occupied. happy. playing together for a long time)
{ Or in Benji's case.. since boy's don't "sew"... he's improving his eye-hand coordination... Working on fine motor skills...!}
May I direct your attention to Katie's....outfit.

Trick candles are even better.
Because he can blow them out
and then...
They light up again.
