We were extremely lucky to enjoy Boppa, Gma, Jacob and Emily for 10 * T-E-N days.  But nothing lasts forever.  We woke up to a lonely house this am.  The weather fits our mood perfectly.  Cool, cloudy, dreary.  Even though it's nice to get back into our rountine, it's never any fun saying goodbye.
Between getting the house put back to together, school, Daddy's upcoming birthday this week, and a few other things we have enough to keep us busy and occupied.  Although no matter how busy we get, nothing can fill the emtpy space that they've left.  But we're glad they came.  And we'll count down to the next time we see them.

Ugh...I understand that feeling a little to well. The loneliest and emptiness that saying goodbye leaves. Thankfully it starts to fade a bit, and you start looking forward to next time!

Hugs to you all!!!

Boppa and G'ma S. said... I'm going to cry. It was fun while it lasted. Glad we were able to come and thank you so, so, so much for having us. :)

P.S. I would like a picture of Benjie and John.

awww... what perfectly wonderful pictures of such sad loneliness. I know that feeling. Just want to crawl in bed and sleep for the longest time when it happens. Glad you documented it.
