I always love a simplified existence when we go away though it's always good to get back to our "stuff" when we come home. But it helps me realize that we really don't NEED so much STUFF!

Looks like your kids are good at keeping themselves entertained. :)

Amy- you are SO right. we have a very limited selection down here, but we're getting by. when we go home we'll be overwhelmed by everything :)

Looks like you all are having some special, quiet, imaginative times. Lovin' the little jean skirt!

They're so creative...and less toys just makes them use their imagination more!

With moving as much as we do, our things/toys often remain in rubbermaid totes until they are "rediscovered" again. Then it is like everying is brand new and oh so exciting!! Your kids will be so excited to go back and be with their other stuff and then they will be wondering when they get to go back to their "south" home;-)

They all have good imaginations and are very creative. And that's a good thing. We know from experience, (don't we Heather) that a roomful of toys doesn't keep them occupied...only a handful. The rest is clutter. ;)

I love her little jean skirt, its so adorable! I want a girl:(

Anyway, yes Carter still would rather play with the kitchen utensils and pans than regular toys, they love the simple things in life which is amazing:)
