Like Father, Like Children...

Our evenings days life are is quite entertaining around here.

Rarely is there a dull moment...

And it's all fun and games... until you get caught wearing your sister's pink sunglasses...upside down...and your belly is sticking out of your pj's...and someone took your guitar away.  It's tough being Tubby.

Skirts by Neisha

To say the girls love their new skirts and purses is a huge understatment!!  They had to wear them last night... and received oodles of complients.

Thank You Neisha for making these skirts and purses for us.  We love them... so does Mom!!  Now Mom needs to make them some... or maybe we'll just have Neisha do another one :)

The last night Jacob, Emily, Boppa and Gma were here, we tried out a nearby lake.  We didn't catch any fish.  But we had a great time.

On our way home from Chattanooga we stopped at a Railroad Museum.  The kids loved exploring the 'ol train sitting on the side track.  John was in his glory.. trains.  trains. trains.

road trip

Last week we drove down to Chattanooga (TN).  It was rainy, cool, cloudy and foggy when we got to Look Out Mountain (so no pictures).  But we enjoyed a picnic lunch anyways.   We also saw parts of AL and GA on our trip.  On the way home we stopped at a little railroad museum.  I'll post those pictures another time.

There are no words to describe the bond between these two boys.

Quiet. Stillness. Alone.

For the past week, we've enjoyed having Boppa, Gma, Jacob and Emily here.

But now they've headed back home

Leaving us all alone.

We were glad they could come.

And we miss them already.

(I never dreamt I'd say this.. but having 'just' 4 kids today was kinda dull, boring and quiet...

 for awhile...)

Fun in the Sun

Two very happy boys. Benji told me: "we (him and Jacob) have alot of work to do the next few days while Jacob is here"3 matching buddies We had to take them to our favorite park. Then took a not-so-quick-dip in the pool....

And we still have lots of daylight to play in. Tonight G'ma is making us fried chicken!! :o)
