Typical moment at our house-

1. Carolyn took my camera.. again. (blurry pic)
2. Katie's only wearing underwear.  Playing with her baby pink monkey.
3. Her hair isn't combed.  Carolyn's hair likely isn't either.
4. Benji's climing ... on the bed frame.
5. John likely just jumped onto the bed  OR is getting ready to bury under the covers...again.  (a reason I don't always make our bed in the am)
6. I'm pretty sure it's bedtime.  And none of them are getting ready for bed.. because their jumping on it!

I'm embarassed at how long it's taken me to get these pictures on here.  Rhonda at Sew Personal Designs was kind enough to make these shirts for the 4 kids.  I've yet to met Rhonda in person, but we have many mutual friends.  I'm pretty sure our paths will cross... someday soon!   Thanks again Rhonda!  The kids LOVE them... and so do I!  (This isn't the best picture.. but it was the day we got the shirts in the mail.  I couldn't get the shirts on them fast enough..)

4 wheeling - kiddie style

We enjoyed our time with friends the other day.  Most of the time spent outdoors was riding this toy.  After a lap around the yard, Benji got the low-down on how to run the machine.  Off he went.  Chloe was nice enough to drive the other 3 kids around the yard.  It was a blast.  Now our kids want one! :)

Winter Wonderland

thankful for turkeys

Thanksgiving was here again this year.  We do things alittle different.  Our meal is for supper.  It works out pretty good.  The guys can hunt, and us girls have all day to have some fun, I mean prepare for the big meal.  Everyone is happy (as long as the guys get their deer).

Since I was slightly preoccupied that evening, I have these 2 pictures for the evening.  Maybe A. Tanya/Heather/Gma have some they'll share (hint, hint).    I printed off some Thanksgiving coloring pages for the kids.  Each kid had their own coloring book.  (Which was a lifesaver for those few minutes just before supper was ready)

We had 25 people here.  10  kids.  The oldest was 8.  The youngest was 10 mos.  The house was hopping.  The food was great.  The night went too fast.  The end.

A hunting we will go went

I bet most people thought hunting season was over.  But... it isn't.  I should be glad that the season isn't as long as it is out west.  Either way, it puts meat in our freezers.  So no major complaints here.  Our hunting crew (Boppa, Gma, Daddy, Joe) brought in quite a few deer (and a few nice bucks- maybe 4-5?).  I haven't heard the offical count.  But judging by the meat in the freezer... it was enough until next year! :)

Watching Daddy clean out his buck.  (Daddy brags about how fast he can gut a deer.  Under 60 seconds for sure.  If it were me.. I wouldn't brag about being the fastest, I'd try to be the slowest.. then I'd get out of the job.  Difference between husband and wife I guess :)  John was as close as he could get, saying: 'Ouch!' 'Yuck!'.  Never leaving Daddy's side.  Silly kid!  (If you look closely, you'll see him holding onto his trains.. That boy NEVER is without a train, or two, or four)

Daddy's buck - these 2 boys have buck-fever pretty bad.  It won't be long and they'll be right there with the big boys.
