It was the chair

• Tonight Jacob and Emily had supper with us. Benji, Emily and John were all sitting in the same area. I heard something that resembled the sound of a 'toot'.

• Me: What was that?
• Emily and Benji (at the same time): It was just the chair squeaking.
• Meanwhile, John pointed directly at Benji.
• This isn't the first time we've had 'squeaky' chairs at the table.

Saturday me and the girls went to my g'parents 60th anniversary party. I think we were missing just 1 grandson, 1 grandson-in-law, and 2 great-grandsons (my husband and our 2 boys). Otherwise the entire family was there. It was SO good to see everyone, since it's been a loong time since some of us have gotten together. All the great-daughters are so close in age it was a BLAST watching them all play together.

I have MANY more cute pictures of Carolyn & Katie, but need to take the time to edit them.

Boppa's firebugs

Supper at G'pa & G'ma house just isn't complete without a fire. *(I love how John is JUST sitting there, for a change. He must be Boppa's supervisor)Everyone, including John finds sticks for Boppa's fire. (note john's hat. he loves to wear hats, but he'll usually flip them around backwards)Then we sit back and watch...After awhile it gets very boring just sitting by the fire.

And we're off to find something else to get into..

Helping Daddy

The other day Daddy brought his semi up to the house to wash/wax it. At our house, any time you drag out the house, you have at least 2 kids glued to your side. Although the semi is slightly too tall for them, they had a blast with the tires...and the hose...I stayed in the back yard with Katie and John to stay dry!
