I cheated and bought them already picked. It cost just a tad more, but with 4 kids and this hot-humid weather, it is worth every single dollar extra I spent. I still plan on taking the older kids to pick at the patch, maybe. But then we can pick on their terms, not Mommy's.

This week proves to be busy- strawberries, cousins, strawberries, appts, pool, strawberries, playing, and packing! Shhh! (Don't tell the kids- we're going to G'pa Ray and G'ma Joyce house for the weekend!!)

i did that last year. made a ton of jam. nobody here really likes strawberry jam! so in the freezer it sits.
