I know it's so true. Once I told Brett to quit growing & he said "but Mom I have to keep getting years!" They have no idea how precious these years are.
Even though it's so neat to watch them grow up, you really sometimes want them to grow "down"! They get way too smart sometimes...too fast.
When I was 16, I wanted to be 18. At 30 I wanted to be 16 again. (Why I don't know.) Now I would love to go back to 17 when I met Ben and do it all again. We have had quite an adventure these past 34 years. I do look forward to the adventures to come with all our family.
