We left Friday morning about 9:30. (Benjamin got up at 4AM to haul a load early in the morning, so I got the lucky honors of driving over 3/4 of the way.) With 4 kids and only 2 stops we made it in 8 hours! Considering the length of the trip and their excitement to get to Iowa they ALL did really good. Here's a photo-overload of the 1st stretch of our weekend!

Wasn't there any snow down in Iowa? Glad you had a nice trip.
Mom- there was NO snow. When we got there Fri is was in the upper 60's and sunny. The rest of the wk end was cooler with rain showers.
Thanks for sharing some of the fun. That is a long trip for the little ones. I remember trips, I would sit in the back and read a ton of books to keep the kids happy.
