Outside

Tuesday and Wednesday were perfect: sunny, warm (well- high 30's, low 40's).

The kids spent the entire afternoons outside! Their favorite thing to do is 'play dogs'. They crawl around, barking and licking the snow! Our renter down the hill has hunting dogs, so when my 'dogs' started barking it got them going too! :)

Emily and Carolyn found a poor stuffed dog (it used to bark and flip until someone used it for a horse...John!) that got left outside for the winter. They filled the wagon with snow and gave him a snow bath. Later that day, Jacob and Benji gave him more of a 'real bath' in the mud puddle! That dog went everywhere with the kids. We decided he is more of an outside dog! ;)

Thursday Snow Storm: 4-6" of snow, single digit weather, below zero wind chills!

Not even a little 'snow storm' can keep Katie away from the swing set!

I felt sorry for them and let them stay with us until the storm passed!
