Before I start, most everyone knows we lived in Iowa for awhile last year. We went back to visit our 'family' there. John and Linda were nice enough to let us invade their house this time. Our kids called them G'pa and G'ma! I realized I didn't get any pics of "Boppa John", nor of 'everyone' that we saw. But we were thrilled to see just about everyone that we used to meet with! We were glad the kids picked right up where they left off, and remembered everybody (only pretending to be shy...at first!)
We got there about 5:30. Linda and John had supper waiting for us. But before we could eat, the kids found all the toys they had waiting for them.
Benji was thrilled to find the chest FULL of tractors, combines, semi's and trailers!
The girls went right to work in their new kitchen cooking up a storm. I'm sure Linda is finding food all over their house, as we speak :-)
On Saturday: Benji, Carolyn and me went with Linda to the local supermarket. Benji was so excited to ride in the bottom of the cart! He saw 'critter corn' (dried up corn on the stalk) and so badly to have some for lunch! G'ma Linda talked him into some 'better' corn for lunch!
When we got to IA it was warm and sunny. Sat was cooler, rainy (more like WI). But the kids still had fun playing with their bubbles!John would chase the bubbles all over the yard...
The kids colored pictures for them...
John would dump out ALL the crayons, then line them up!

The highlight of Saturday was... BATH TIME! Those pictures are coming tomorrow!
